Message from Mrs Richards.

Happy World Book day everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day. Don't forget to check the library page on the school website for lots of exciting activities. Have fun making your dens, and don't forget to send me your world book day photos on tapestry. smiley

Hi everyone,

As I'm sure you are aware this will be the final week of home learning. Congratulations and a huge well done on all of your efforts to support your children's learning and development at home. I know this hasn't always been easy but you have all done an outstanding job. I know that the whole Nansloe team can't wait to welcome your children back into nursery and school, and we will all have a big smile on our faces next Monday.
I hope you've all had a great week this week, and your children have enjoyed doing some of the activities on the home learning grid.
Thank you for all of your posts and updates, I have really enjoyed seeing all of your wonderful learning. It seems like many of you have had good fun learning about Spring and seasonal changes. We’ve been so lucky with the weather this week. Just perfect for spring walks.
Next week is a busy week. As well as world book day we will be continuing with our theme of spring, but looking at flowers and blossom. To help us with this we will be using a story called ‘When spring comes.’ You will be using this story and other resources to learn about our senses, and how we use them to explore our surroundings. There are lots of other associated activities to try on the learning grid, including having a go at growing your own bean. I would love to see how you get on with this so please continue to post your videos and photos on Tapestry, so that I can keep your child's learning journey up to date.
Don’t forget to keep an eye on the school website for world book day updates, and if your child is dressing up for the event please post a picture on Tapestry so I can see their amazing costumes..

Please find attached this weeks learning grid. I hope that your children enjoy completing the activities, and I look forward to seeing the finished results.

Take care everyone and I will see you all on week commencing 8th March.

Love from Mrs Richards x blush

Before spring comes, the trees are dark sticks, the grass is brown, and the ground is covered in snow. But if you wait, leaves unfurl and flowers blossom...
