Blue badges are awarded for sending in interesting letters, stories, makes, pictures, poems, good ideas for the programme, and for having appeared on Blue Peter. I know some children are avid fans of Blue Peter and very eager to try and gain a blue badge! Why not have a go? Here is the link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/joinin/about-blue-peter-badges
Please continue to choose your daily wild activity and enjoy nature !
How many challenges have you been able to do so far? Has anyone caught a crab? Who has found animal tracks? Has anyone gone for a walk barefoot?
This term we have looked at the world around us and focused on weather and revisiting plants and animals. It is an exciting topic as the children will be using all their senses to learn and discover new things around them. For the last few weeks of term we will be revisiting how to keep ourselves healthy and discover amazing facts about the coastline around us. We will have a dip into history and learn about Grace Darling and learn how she was awarded a medal for her bravery.

Handwriting, Pencil Control and Cutting Skills Activities
This week we are going to practice capital letters and pencil control. Pencil control is a calming, mindful activity but it also takes a lot of concentration and effort. Try to do the pencil control activities for a few minutes each day.

100 Book Challenge
At Nansloe we love reading!
We are challenging all children at Nansloe, to see if they can read 100 books before leaving Nansloe.
This challenge is for children to read the books themselves, not have them read to them. After finishing reading the book, children will need to tick the book off and write the date they completed it. Please also record your read in your reading record.
Good Luck, Happy Reading!
